  1. 01 Is 9vids free?

    Yes. No account, no paid tier hiding a faster queue, no HD behind a paywall. To keep it free for everyone, there's a cap of 5 downloads an hour and 10 a day.

  2. 02 How many videos can I download?

    Up to 5 an hour and 10 a day. Only links that work count, a whole carousel counts as one, and saving the same link again within 30 minutes is free. If you reach the limit, the download box shows when your next one is ready.

  3. 03 Does the person who posted it find out?

    No. The post is fetched by our server, not by your account, so no view, like or visit shows up under your name. Opening the post yourself to copy the link is an ordinary view.

  4. 04 Why did my link fail?

    Usually because the post is private, removed, or only visible when logged in. We also can't save videos longer than an hour, Instagram or Facebook stories, Facebook group posts, or TikToks whose creator switched downloads off. Now and then a platform changes something on its side; if the link looks fine, try again a little later.

  5. 05 Where does the file go on my phone?

    On iPhone it lands in Files, under Downloads, and you can move it to Photos from there. On Android it goes to your Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery.

  6. 06 What quality do I get?

    The best the platform serves. YouTube comes as an MP4 (H.264) at up to 1080p by default, which plays on any phone, laptop or TV, and you can choose 720p or 360p for a smaller file. You can also take just the audio as an MP3 (not on VK), or a muted copy with no sound.

  7. 07 Is it legal?

    There's no blanket yes: it depends on the video and on the law where you live. Reposting someone else's work as your own is out, whichever tool you use. Respect the people who made it.
